Otis is a young smooth coat collie, but we have an inkling that he may be a mix. He can be a bit scared at first of people and places he doesn't know, but he's incredibly sweet and all he wants is your love. He loves to meet other dogs when hes out on his walks, and at his foster home he is completely at ease with cats. Otis has plenty of energy! He'd make a great running partner for an active family, and he'd still have energy to play with the dogs in the neighborhood afterwards. Otis loves to run around in the yard and is pretty keen on playing fetch with a ball! After all that playtime, he loves to be loved and scratched in all the right places... ear rubs and hip rubs sure hit the spot! And when it's time to watch your favorite TV shows in the evening, he loves to cuddle up on the couch and watch them with you. Because Otis gets frightened easily, it can take some time for him to warm up to people and moving objects like skateboards and bikes. That being the case, we think he'd do best in a neighborhood that is calm and in a low-population area. He'll also do best with a family that has patience, can help him build confidence, and will understand his shy nature. Otis is a sweetheart all around!
