Meet Lad! He's a very sweet, mellow, and friendly collie boy. He's about 7 years old. Lad will tilt his head when you speak to him, and is more than happy to gently take a treat from your hand. He gets along great with other dogs and cats, and rides well in the car. While on his walks, he really perks up when he sees animals like birds, squirrels, and other dogs - barking at them to let them know he is just across the street. Lad seems to have some training as well. His foster mom said he knows how to sit, lay down, and give his paw. He does have some arthritis in his hips, but Lad doesn't let that stop him from loving life. Lad loves to bark and has a nice, deep 'big dog' bark. He loves belly rubs as well!
